Even though I live in Central Illinois, I'm a member of the Ohio Firebirds. I'm sure most of you guys are aware of them. They mostly hang out at www.78ta.com. For more info on the Ohio Firebirds, check out our site:

Well, I have trouble getting to the ohiofirebirds.com link myself -- I think it's a computer setting, but I haven't had time to figure it out. |

Weird, the Ohio Firebird link is going to the 78ta site (both are run by the same guy). I have used that link several times to get to the site. Maybe Brett (Hitman) is doing something to the Ohio Firebirds site. |

s"dragon" huh? lol
Just out of curiosity, what kind of perks do members who are out of the area enjoy? I used to be a member of DAPA when I lived down there and maintained my membership even after I moved to NH but it meant was basicly paying $24 a year for a newsletter. I've been looking and looking for an organization to join and have had no luck what-so-ever locally. (The one local club, The Bridge City Cruisers, has never returned any of my attempts to contact them.) |

| Perks? You get to hang out with some of NE Ohios coolest TA owners. Hitman, Hammer, Lowmileta, TAvsGN and myself (plus others whom I haven't mentioned.) Other than that there really aren't any. Despite what the current site says we do not charge a yearly membership fee. We don't have a newsletter, although the idea has been kicked around. We hang out together, help each other with their car, and go to shows together. Thats it. Pretty laid back but we have fun. |

| Oh, we also don't have regular monthly meetings either. (Told you it was laid back) We have a winter gathering for dinner at a restaurant in January, location still TBA, and we have a spring dustoff and fall wrap up (also location TBA). We will have a meeting at the TA Nats and possibly other shows we have a decent number of attendees. Thats about it. |
